My Story
Hi! My name is Natalie, I’m so glad you’re here and I’d love the opportunity to introduce myself!
I have been a Hospice nurse for almost 3 years now. The first 1.5 years of that I carried a case load of patients that I saw on a weekly basis. For almost that entire time I had a very special patient who I always say helped me way more than I ever helped her. I would even bring my then 1 year old daughter to visit with her on my days off. A couple months before she passed we were talking about how I wanted to learn how to sew and she was encouraging me to learn and start my own little business making baby rompers. She was so excited for me and took days coming with the perfect name for my business. Barboteuse (French for romper) by Natalie.
Fast forward another 1.5 years and I inherited my (great)- Aunt Nancy’s sewing machine. Sewing and quilting was her passion and I feel honored to carry on her passion with all the tools she left behind on earth.
As you will notice all of my jacket designs are named after women. They are all either patients or family members who inspire or Inspired me daily.
